I have personally been investing in real estate/rental property for 8+ years. My family owns 20+ single family properties that are all rental properties and vacation rentals. I moved in to the mortgage industry in 2003 after being a regional manager for Industrial Manufactures for 10 years. I spent my day calling on engineering firms, refineries and chemical plants. After realizing that real estate would help me get out of driving 30,000 miles a year, and spending time in airports, I switched to being a mortgage professional. Since my move, I now get to spend more time within my community of Montgomery County. My wife and I are both active members of the Conroe Noon Lions club where I have served on numerous committees and positions. I am also actively involved in the Montgomery County A&M Club where I have served as Golf Tournament co-chair, VP of Muster and Scholarship Board Member for 3 years. I never had the opportunity to spend so much time within in the community until I got into real estate and mortgage lending. I think it has been the best move I have ever made.
As for my family, I have been married to Christie for 12 years and we have two wonderful kids -- Megan and Mason. I am fortunate to get to coach them both in soccer, softball, baseball and golf.
